Until the construction of Trinity Landing in 2006, the Fountain pontoon was all that remained of the 3 piers that have served Cowes over the centuries, although a number of wharves, jetties and slipways survive; this book focuses on those three: Fountain Pier, The Royal Pier and Victoria Pier detailing the stories behind each.
