Description
So many country crats have disappeared and the skills of a withyskinner is one of them. The practitioners of this art were among the many story tellers of the day.
Freddie Dinnis had a tale or two to tell and in the early 1980s, his son Alan persuaded him to record some of them.
After Freddie died in 1989, those recordings, along with his diaries and some from Alan’s mother were used to begin the book you can now enjoy.
